Born and raised in Brecksville and a longtime resident of Broadview Heights, Christine is committed to the surrounding communities, particularly to the Brecksville-Broadview Heights school system, where her daughter and son were the family's third generation graduates.
Christine's career has traveled many paths in the beauty industry. Her passion for hair design originally began in Ohio in the 70's and went on to become a designer hairstylist. She then moved to Washington D.C. for 6 years, where she was the head of a design team for one of D.C.'s top rated salon and spa. She also produced hair/fashion/bridal shows, many being hosted by well-known TV stars and often attended by as many as 3000 people.
Missing her roots in Cleveland, she returned home in 1993 and for the next 14 years worked for one of the largest distributors of professional beauty products. In 2005, The Dana Lauren Salon was opened in Independence, working alongside her daughter, Dana. Starting with 780 square feet and 4 workstations, the duo went on to helped build and design a brand new location. In 2009 they closed the Independence salon and moved into the new 3,200 square foot day spa in Broadview Heights.
Although Christine still loves getting her hands into a head of hair a few days a week, the majority of her time is spent on the day-to-day running of the business (...or at home, running after her grandson, Carter!) Her favorite hours at work are spent with clients and staff, and sharing her passion for beauty and life with new stylists.
